What steps can I take if my VAT claim is declined?

If your VAT claim is declined, it may be due to a variety of reasons. Below are the most common issues and their solutions:


  • Invalid Invoice Format: The submitted document must be a valid invoice with the following mandatory details:
    • Full name of the purchaser (you or the mission)
    • Seller’s name and VAT number
    • Invoice date and number
    • Detailed description of goods or services provided
    • Total amount excluding VAT, VAT rate, and VAT amount
  • Incorrect Address Provided: The invoice must contain either your personal address or the mission's address, as required for accurate verification.

Once corrected, you may resubmit the claim for processing.
